The flexion/torsion fatigue test machine includes means for supporting a test piece allowing deformations of the latter and defining a reference for orthogonal directions X, Y, Z, means for applying a force onto the test piece, and means for measuring the deformations of the test piece. The means for supporting the test piece include two devices 5, 6 for holding the ends 2 of the test piece 1 so as to be freely movable along the direction X and freely rotatable around the direction Y, and a central bearing device 7 for the middle of the test piece 1 which is freely movable in the direction Z and freely rotatable around the direction X.
