PURPOSE:To enhance a conception rate by bringing sperm injection temp. and a sperm injection time to a state near to natural breeding, by inserting and staying a sperm storage part in the vagina of a sow and subsequently injecting sperm in the uterus. A sperm injector 10 is inserted in the vagina A of a sow and the engaging part 34 of the mount part 30 of the drive part 14 is engaged with the vaginal opening B of the sow. Thereafter, the spring mechanism of the drive part 14 is driven to rotate the male screw rod 31 and an piston 25 is moved toward the injection tube 12 without being rotated to inject the sperm in the sperm storage part 11 in the uterus. After the elapse of the predetermined time required in injection, the female screw part 26 of a shaft 24 moves to the leading end part of the male screw rod 31 to reach a free part 32 and the screwing of the shaft 24 with the male screw rod 31 is released to finish injection.
