An armoured fighting vehicle has a hull (2) mounted on a chassis (1) and is equipped with a gun (6) mounted in a rotatable turret (5). The vehicle has a rotating magazine (8) in the hull (2) with its rotational axis aligned with the rotational axis of the turret (5). The turret (5) is equipped with a device for transferring the ammunition (9,10) to the gun (6). An additional magazine (15) in the form of an endless belt, is provided in the rear end of the hull (2) with means to transfer the ammunition from the magazines (15) to the rotating magazine (8).
