FOREFRONT FORMED PART HOUSING SYSTEM IN HIGH SPEED TRAIN

PURPOSE:To simplify the changeover of both solo and coupled travels by housing a forefront formed portion covering a coupler at the tip portion of a vehicle, into the inside of a bonnet at a carbody front head portion through a turning mechanism, and then, closing the bonnet. CONSTITUTION:A bonnet 3 at the front head portion of a vehicle is opened upward with an opening/closing mechanism 4 and a motive power apparatus 5 by means of an operation switch 1 within an operation chamber. When an opening action completion is inspected by means of a position detection switch 6, and a relay switch 7 is operated, a head mold formation portion 8 is turned with a turning mechanism 9 and a motive power apparatus 10, and housed at a fixed position at the inside of the bonnet 3. And the opening/closing mechanism 4 is operated by means of a turning position inspection switch 11 and a relay switch 12, and the bonnet 3 is closed. Accordingly, a coupler 13 is put into the condition of being exposed, and is made to be capable of being used for a connected travel. In the case of a solo travel being applied, an operation is made in a reverse order, and the coupler 13 is covered with the mold formation portion 8, and the bonnet 3 is closed. Accordingly, changeover can be made automatically.
