PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of control accuracy of a fuel injection amount, by prohibiting control by a D-J system when an engine is cool where control means of an L-J (L-jetronic) system and the D-J (D-jetronic) system is switched in accordance with a driving condition for controlling an amount of fuel injection. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection control device 20 is provided with control means 24 for calculating an amount of fuel injection based on signals sensed by an air flow meter 12 and an r.p.m. sensor 22 using an L-J system and control means 24 for calculating an amount of fuel injection based on signals sensed by an intake air pipe pressure sensor 21 and the r.p.m. sensor 22 using a D-J system. There is provided determined means 25 for comparing a sensed pressure Pm of an intake air pipe with a pressure Po at which respective systems are switches. When PmPo, switching means 26 selects he control means 24 and when PmPo, it selects the control means 23. Further, there is provided a D-J prohibiting means 27 for applying a signal for prohibiting switching from the L-J system to the D-J system in accordance with a cooling water temperature to the switching means 26.
