SOLID FUEL TRANSFER AND SEAL SYSTEMAbstract of the DisclosureA solid fuel transfer and seal system in which a sealchamber receives a fuel material and a valve is provided foropening and closing a discharge opening in the seal chamber.A seal plug unit moves across the chamber to push the fuelmaterial contained in said chamber towards the dischargeopening. The valve is opened in response to a predeterminedamount of movement of the seal plug unit towards thedischarge opening and the seal plug unit seals the inletopening from the discharge opening after opening of thevalve.
