DETECTION METHOD OF HIV ANTIBODY AND ASSAY KIT FOR USE IN THE SAME

PURPOSE: To detect an anti-HIV antibody with high sensitivity by touching two solid phase support bonded, respectively, with p24, pg41 proteins to the aliquot and the labeled anti-human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) p24, pg41 antibodies in a sample. CONSTITUTION: First and second solid phase supports are boded, respectively, with p24, pg41 proteins and the first support is touched to the first aliquot and the labeled anti-HIV p24 antibody in a biological sample. Unbonded biological sample and the labeled anti-HIV p24 antibody are then removed and the label is detected, thus determining presence of the anti-HIV p24 antibody. Subsequently, the second support is touched to the second aliquot and the labeled anti-HIV pg41 antibody in the sample, unbonded sample and the labeled anti- HIV pg41 antibody are removed and the label is detected thus determining presence of the anti-HIV pg41 antibody. Presence of the anti-HIV antibody is determined based on the presence the anti-HIV p24 antibody and/or the anti- HIV pg41 antibody. According to the method, the anti-HIV antibody can be detected earlier with enhanced sensitivity.
