TROUBLE SECTION IN SYSTEM DISCRIMINATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To discriminate a trouble section without increasing the number of trouble information transmission lines by taking in operation information of protection relays and breakers as trouble information to retrieve power failure selections, list up trouble equipment candidates, and to perform prescribed condition evaluation. CONSTITUTION:If trouble occurs in a system 100, protection relays and breakers are operates approximately simultaneously, and operation information of both of them is inputted to a system monitor nd control system 200 and a system trouble section discriminating device 300 as trouble information, and breakers of trip operation are rearranged in order from the breaker most distant from a substation as the power source of a trouble current to generate a list, and this list is referred in order from the breaker most distant from the power source to check equipments connected to the load side of breakers, thus retrieving power failure sections. Next, protection equipments such as transmission lines and transformers corresponding to operated protection relays are checked based on trouble information and a system configuration file 302 to generate a trouble equipment candidate list, and a power failure section list is traced in order from the section most distant from the power source; and if an equipment included in the candidate list is found, a peculiar condition corresponding to its classification is evaluated and this section is discriminated as the trouble section by a trouble section discriminating part 305.
