In sanitary cleaning, using a liq. or solid cleaner contg. (a) disinfecting organic substances, (b) the usual lime-dissolving water-soluble acids, and opt. (c) further additives, the concn. of (a) in the cleaner is such that the concn. in the active phase in the sanitary unit to be treated is 2-200x the min. retarding concn. (MHK), and (c) organic substances promoting microorganisms and resistant to the lime-dissolving acids are present in concn. such that after dilution or flushing, the action of the microorganisms breaking down organic matter in the water is promoted. USE/ADVANTAGE - The sanitary cleaner is used in toilet bowls, urinals, bath tubs, bidets, wash bowls and showers. The sterilising action in the 1st phase, e.g. in the toilet bowl is retained, but the breakdown efficiency of the microflora in the waste water (in the 2nd phase) is not upset.
