PURPOSE: To perform safe and rapid winding and unwinding of a number of long mooring cables. ;CONSTITUTION: A small winding core frame 52 around which a rope 5a made of resin is wound and a large winding core frame 53 around which a rope 5b made of steel is wound are arranged concentrically in the containing case 51 of a winding drum 22. A mooring cable handling device 23 is provided and comprises a feed device 62 for a mooring cable 5 and a mooring cable guiding device 61 to guide a mooring cable from the feed device 62 to the winding drum 22. A revolving arm 66 rotatable around the same vertical axis as those of the winding core frames 52 and 53 is disposed above the containing case 51 of the winding drum 22. A guide hole 65a through which a mooring cable 5 from the feed device 62 is introduced to the axis position of the revolving arm 66 is provided. A moving sheave 67 through which the mooring cable 5 introduced through the guide hole 65a is guided to the winding drum 22 side is arranged in the direction of the length of the revolving arm 66 in a manner to be capable of regulating a position. A revolving driving device is provided for rotating the revolving arm 66 at a given speed responding to the mooring cable feed speed of the feed device 62 and the position of the moving sheave 67.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
