The appts. includes a two-way switch (7) which enables an evaluation unit (5) to be selectively connected to a measurement transducer (1) or calibration signal source (3). An additional two-way switch (9) with its node (10) connected to that of the first switch has its output connections connected together and to the evaluation unit (5). The two-way switches can be in the form of two-way relays. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for reliable monitoring of temp. measurement signals automatically without requiring expensive thermo-voltage-free relay.
