PURPOSE:To perform in parallel the excavation of pit and the setting of core part by a method in which a drill machine is connected to a core part setter in a freely distance adjustable manner and the distance between core parts is set up to the whole multiple of setting pitches of sheathing piles. CONSTITUTION:A drill machine 2 and a core part setter 3 are set in parallel and connected in a core part distance adjustable manner by a connecting distance-regulating cylinder 9. An excavating mechanism 15 is provided in a vertically movable manner along the vertical frame 13 of the machine 2 and supported in an oscillating manner. The core-holding head 49 of the setter 3 is formed in a manner that its position can be regulated in the oscillating and back-forth directions, and the stock of connecting rods 19 is set between the machine 2 and the setter 3. The core distance for the machine 2 and the setter 3 is set up to the corresponding value of whole multiple of setting pitches of sheathing piles. The excavation of pits and the setting of core parts are performed in parallel.
