The outlet valve for hot water in a drinks machine or the like has a valve inlet attached to the water container (18) and a valve outlet connected by a valve seat to the valve inlet. The valve inlet of each outlet valve (AV1, AV2, AV3) is connected to the brew water container (18) on one side by a supply pipe (18.4) and on the other side by a discharge pipe (18.1). - A pump (15) is mounted in the supply pipe and a throttle device (18) is mounted in the discharge pipe. The valve inlet of each outlet valve can be connected to a bypass pipe which is guided by the supply pipe out of the brew water container and back to same via the discharge pipe.
