COLUMN FLOTATION MACHINE FEEDER AND COLUMN FLOTATION MACHINE USING SAID FEEDER

PURPOSE: To bring air into contact with ore before an ore solution is fed to the body of a column by simultaneously charging and mixing the ore solution and air. ;CONSTITUTION: The column flotation machine feeder 10 is formed into a nearly conical shape. An air charging port 11 is opened in the axial direction in the center part of the base part of the conical shape in order to force-feed compressed air. An ore solution charging port 12 is opened in the tangential direction in the circumference part of the base part of the conical shape to charge and turn the ore solution. A mixing part 14 of air and the ore solution is positioned in the cone part to mix the ore solution fed from the ore solution charging port with compressed air force-fed from the air charging port. A discharge part 15 is opened in the axial direction in the top to discharge compressed air and the ore solution which are mixed in the mixing part of air and the ore solution. The body 17 of a column is provided in which the column flotation machine feeder is arranged in the side wall 16, so that the mixed compressed air and the ore solution are injected from the column floatation machine feeder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
