METHOD FOR MEASURING GALLIC ACID IN SERUM BY ELISA AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING LIVER DISEASE

PURPOSE: To determine quality and quantity change by enabling the activated ester of gallic acid to react with cow serum albumin solution to manufacture antigallic acid antibody and enabling the activated ester to react with enzyme to create enzyme labeled gallic acid, add the acid to the serum to be measured, and obtaining the total gallic acid concentration. CONSTITUTION: Antigall acid antibody manufactures the activated ester of gallic acid, causes the ester to react with cow serum albumin solution, dialyzes it, and creates mammal other than human being as immunity with the dialyzed object as an antibody. Enzyme labeled gallic acid allows the activated ester to react with enzyme and creates enzyme labeled antigen. The serum to be measured, antibody gallic acid antibody liquid, and enzyme labeled antibody liquid are added to a second antibody same-phase plate for reaction and then substrate is added for reaction. The absorbance of a reaction product is measured to obtain the concentration of gallic acid and the total of these acids is set to the total gallic acid concentration. Cholic acid, etc., are obtained for a healthy person, a standard range is set, and the standard range is compared with the total gallic acid concentration of a liver patient to be measured.
