EFFECTIVE UTILIZATION OF PRODUCT OBTAINED FROM SOLUTION OF WASTE COCOON IN ALKALINE EARTH SOLUTION OR LIQUID MIXTURE THEREOF TO OBTAIN ADHESIVE, ANTIFROSTING, SNOW-PROOFING, ICE-PROOFING, THAWED ICE RELEASING AND MILDEW-PROOFING PROPERTIES

PURPOSE: To obtain a product having adhesive, antifrosting, snow-proofing, ice-proofing thawed ice releasing, and mildew-proofing properties by dissolving waste cocoons in an acid or alkali, neutralizing the resultant solution, desalting the obtained product, and mixing the obtained cocoon component with a synthetic resin. ;CONSTITUTION: Waste cocoons are effectively utilized by dissolving them in an alkaline earth metal solution, or dissolving them in monochloroacetic acid, sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid and then neutralizing the solution with an alkali, desalting the product, concentrating the product, and mixing the obtained product with a synthetic resin to accelerate the resinification and thereby improving low-temperature resistance, hygroscopicity and plasticity. Thus the waste cocoons are effectively utilized for antifrosting a freezer, or for snow-proofing, antifreezing and releasing purpose for the preparation of a package of a frozen food, refrigerator, roof, gutter, water pipe, building, glass, boots, etc., by coating them with a combination of the waste cocoons with a surfactant and the oily resin to improve the antifrosting and antifreezing effects.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
