ROLLING COMPACTION DEVICE USING AIR TAMPER IN BANKING WORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve constructing performance by fitting a plurality of air tampers to a cylindrical holder fixedly provided at the tip of a backhoe through an attachment, through elastic resin, and driving the air tampers by an air compressor mounted on the backhoe. ;SOLUTION: An air tamper holder 20 is fitted to an air tamper fitting attachment 10, and air tampers with rolling compaction parts 39 are enclosed therein. The air tampers are enclosed in the holder 20 through a rubber ring and a Duracon cylinder formed of elastic resin. At the time of construction, a boom 2 is moved, and the air tampers are operated by an air compressor 5 to apply rolling compaction to banking material A by the rolling compaction parts 39. At the time of striking the banking material A, the rubber ring and Duracon cylinder are compressed to absorb impact received by the air tampers. When the rolling compaction parts 39 are returned upward, the rubber ring and Duracon cylinder are returned to their original forms, and reaction is absorbed to prevent the damage of the air tampers.
