PREPARATION FOR TREATMENT OF NEWBORN PIGLET WITH DIARRHEA AND METHOD OF TREATMENT OF NEWBORN PIGLET WITH DIARRHEA

FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: antimicrobial preparation of transdermal action has the following antimicrobial substances: 2-alkoxy-6,9-diaminoacridine salt of the formula (1) where: R - C₁-C₃-alkyl, Ac - acyllactate; 5-nitrofurfurol semicarbazone; para-hydroxybenzoic acid ester of the formula (2) where: R - C₁-C₄-alkyl; solvent-penetrating agents: dimethylsulfoxide, derivative of acetamide of the formula (3) where: R - C₁-C₃-alkyl, isopropanol, oleic acid and morpholine; additional component - water taken at the following ratio components, g/l: 2-alkoxy-6,9-diaminoacridine salt 4-8; 5-nitrofurfurol semicarbazone 4-8; para-hydroxybenzoic acid ester 2-4; dimethylsulfoxide 250-350; acetamide derivative 250-350; isopropanol 100-150; oleic acid 16-24; morpholine 4-6, and water - the rest. 2-Alkoxy-6,9-diaminoacridine salt is 2-ethoxy-6,9-diaminoacridine lactate; para-hydroxybenzoic acid ester is para-hydroxybenzoic acid propyl ester; acetamide derivative is dimethylacetamide. Method of treatment involves administration of antimicrobial preparation in gastroenteric tract of piglet. Preparation is applied on swine udder skin on the 2-3-d day after farrowing, 2-3 h before piglet feeding, for 2 days, twice per a day. Preparation is delivered to piglets with mother milk.
