FIELD: biotechnology, virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing the strain of hybrid cultured murine cells HBSV-1 producing monoclonal antibodies raised to a-determinant of hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBsAg). Strain is obtained by hybridization of myeloma P3-NS1-Ag4.1 cells with murine splenocytes (strain Balb/c) immunized with hepatitis B virus surface antigen isolated from blood serum of patients with chronic hepatitis. The obtained strain produces monoclonal antibodies of IgG1 class interacting with conformational epitope on the group-specific a-determinant HBsAg and showing high stability. The use of monoclonal antibodies ensures to detect HBsAg in solution and biological fluids of organism. EFFECT: cell strain indicated above, enhanced effectiveness of detection. 1 dwg
