PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel subject antibody which comprises liver/kidney microsome(LKM) antibody appearing in human autoimmunohepatitis type II and is useful in detection of the difference in the antigenic site depending on whether the HCV infection occurs or not on the corresponding antigen cytochrome P450 II d6. ;SOLUTION: This microsome comprises a novel 194 amino acid sequence from No. 283 amino acid, lysine (K) to No. 477 amino acid, histidine (H) counting from the methionine (M) in the translation initiation codon for the amino acid sequence represented by the formula at the site where liver/kidney microsome(LKM) 1 antibody appearing in human autoimmunohepatitis type II (AIH type II) such as AIH Type II a LKM1 antibody and Type II b LKM1 antibody can be recognized, and is useful for detecting the difference in the sites for antigen determinant groups recognized by LKM1 depending whether HCV infection occurs or not on cytochrome P450 II d6, an antigen corresponding to LKM1 antibody.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
