PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent sliding ability through lowering of a contact pressure of a contact portion and relief of deformation resistance by a method wherein a brittle part consisting of a recessed part is formed in the seal part in contact with an opening closing portion. ;SOLUTION: An airtight member 2 comprises a mounting base part 4 having a plate-form part 4a and an extension part 4b; a seal part 6 having a brittle part 10; and a smooth surface layer 8. Plate-form parts 4a of an airtight member 2 are respectively fitted in recessed parts 34 and 34 for mounting an airtight member facing an upper rail part 32 of a window material 30. The extension part 4b is protruded from opening slits 36 and 36 and the tips of seal parts 6 of two airtight members 2 are brought into contact with the surfaces of rail members 22 and 22 inserted in a slide space S. In this case, the seal part 6 is bent by the brittle part 10 and the smooth surface layer 8 of a tip is brought into close contact with a rail member 22. Thereby, the contact pressure of the contact portion is reduced and excellent sliding ability is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
