PURPOSE: To prevent a wire from being damaged due to the bend of a part near the mouth of a compression-type dead-end clamp in a prefabricated wire. ;CONSTITUTION: A clamp cradle 24 is installed at a trunk part 22 so as to come into contact with the inner face of a flange part 23 for a wire drum 21. The clamp cradle 24 has a clamp mounting face 24a which is extended nearly to the tangent-line direction from the outer circumference of the trunk part 22. A compression-type retention clamp 5 on the winding start side of a prefabricated wire 11 is placed on the clamp mounting face 24a so as to start to wind the prefabricated wire 11. A wire 6 is not bent suddenly at the mouth part of the compression-type dead-end clamp 5, and it is possible to prevent the wire 6 from being bent and damaged at the mouth part of the clamp. In addition, in a winding end, a compression-type dead-end clamp on the winding end side of the prefabricated wire 11 is placed on a protector which is installed on the outer circumference of the aligned and wound wire 6. Thanks to the protector, it is possible to prevent the wire from being damaged due to the bend in the mouth part of the compression-type dead-end clamp on the winding end side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
