Pharmaceutical compositions and a process for the use thereof designed to provide a useful cardio-protective action in the event of coronary insufficiency, in the prevention of a heart attack or at the onset of sudden death. These compositions consist of a mixture of amiodarone, an organic nitrate derivate and a beta -blocker.
