Motif and/or information carrier e.g. for advertisement or tourist souvenir has a shaft for winding up information carrier to allow it to be sent in the post. A winding shaft is connected to the end of a flexible medium. The motif or information carrier consists of a hollow body (9) with openings (12) for a flexible medium (1) such as paper. A rotationally mounted winding shaft (2) is connected to the free end of the flexible medium via a grip (13). Power is supplied for winding up the flexible medium and this provided or stored mechanically, electrically, by solar means.
