Detection of electromagnetic radiation sources within the C or Ku bands for telephone communication satellites

The method involves detecting cyclically the amplitude spectral signature of the radiation source. For preference this should be the transponder assignment for the case of the C or Ku band within the original or preferably a converted band, E.G. the intermediate frequency range. This is compared with an amplitude spectral tailored reference signature which identifies the target radiation source from other radiation sources within the spectral band.
