The method is carried out using a first signal for servo control of the fuel regulator (3), by transient limitation of the alteration of the power desired value (410) and proportional amplification. A second signal for servo control of the fuel regulator (3) is formed by an override signal of the power desired value (410) and proportional amplification. A second signal for servo control of the fuel regulator (3) is formed by an override signal of the power desired value (410), limited to a specified amplitude and time. A third signal for servo control of the fuel regulator (3) is formed by the overrun control of the transient limiting signal of the power desired value (410). In addition the power desired value (410) is converted in a power desired value (422), across a model describing the dynamic behaviour of the power plant block (1). Which is compared with the power actual value, adjusted for the fuel supply, as a result of the servo control.
