PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a work of exchanging filter bags by keeping the whole body size not so much wide while effectively enlarging the filtration surface area. SOLUTION: This filter bag-supporting basket 3 comprises the following respectively inseparably united members; a basket part 8 constituted concentrically installed outside basket 9 and inside basket 10, a reinforcing member 14 constituted of a punching plate 15 and a reinforcing ring 16 stuck to the inside of the inside basket 10, and a balloon 17 made of a metal installed in the inner circumferential side of the punching plate 15. Consequently, the filter bag- supporting basket 3 is formed in the outside and inside baskets 9, 10 to have a filtration surface area two times as wide as that of a conventional filter bag-supporting basket 3 and on the other hand the filter bag-supporting basket 3 is miniaturized to be compact.
