The procedure entails applying a rough primer on the designated surface, followed by the application of the multi-colour paint onto the primer. A high viscosity or paste-form structured paint, or spread or rolled plaster is used as the primer. The roughness of the primer is such that the recesses are 0.1 to 10mm, and preferably 0.5mm to 5mm, deep in relation to the bumps. The primer is applied by a spatula, trowel, structured roller, brush or suchlike, or even by naked hands.
