PURPOSE:To prevent developing the malgrowth and disease injuries of horse radish in gapanese, wasabi by providing a constant pressure layer with a slope and by setting partition walls on the bottom of a wasabi raising tank to allow nutritive water to flow uniformly. CONSTITUTION:A constant pressure layer 5 with a slope is formed by laying a gravel layer 4 on a clay layer 3, and a stone layer 6 and pebbles 7 are laid on the constant pressure layer 5 in this order, thus making a wasabi raising tank 8. Then, plural partition walls 9... each bearing slits 10 are set on the bottom of the tank, and nutritive water is then fed from a relevant feed pipe 13 via a sand tank 11 and a water tank 12 to the raising tank 8; during this process, agitating action is developed in the nutritive water owing to the slits on the partition walls.
