PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an integrated type learning method of individual adaptive type and cooperative type learning systems while mutually supplementing the drawbacks of both systems without degrading the advantages of the systems by integrating both systems.;SOLUTION: When learners take part in an cooperative type learning system, in which learners commonly possess information and exchange the information while conducting mutual learning, the authentication of the learners is conducted and the certifying information is maintained in the cooperative type learning system (S1). During the start of an individual adaptive type learning, suitable texts are provided to the individual learners, the authentication information is transferred to the individual adaptive type learning system (S2) and learning is started (S3). In the case of having completed the individual adaptive type learning, results are received from the individual adaptive type learning system (S4), and the results are reflected into the cooperative type learning system (S5). Thus, the advantages of acquiring systematic knowledge, exchanging information and commonly possessing the information are simultaneously realized without learners being moved between the two systems.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
