DRY ELEMENTS, TEST DEVICES, TEST KITS AND METHODS FOR CHEMILUMINESCENT DETECTION OF ANALYTES USING PEROXIDASE-LABELED REAGENTS

A dry, removable analytical element can beused to detect chemiluminescent signals produced fromthe reaction of peroxidase and a chemiluminescentdetection system. The analytical element contains atleast two layers, the outer layer being non-tacky andwater-soluble or water-permeable, and used to contact agel plate or transblotting membrane in which multipleanalytes are located. The resulting signal can berecorded using a photosensitive element. Test kitsinclude the various packaged components needed to usethe analytical element for analyte detection. Withinthe element are critical amounts of oxidase and anoxidase substrate for highly sensitive analytedetection.
