PURPOSE: A portable diet controller and the method for controlling the diet are provided to keep the diet program with the interest, and to improve the result of the diet program by receiving the direct management through the network. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs the personal information(S1), configures the purpose of the diet program(S2), and selects an avatar symbolizing a branch of the user(S3). The diet program is started(S4). The user periodically repeats the courses of inputting activity amount comprising an exercise and took food(S7-S12).
