The gearing has a gear rim (1) arranged centrally on a toothed drive shaft (2) coupled to an engine on the primary side. Independently acting clockwise (4) and anticlockwise (5) transfer pinions positively and nonpositively are provided for connection to the drive shaft (6). The drive shaft has a toothed ring gear (3) on its drive side. The toothed drive shaft is symmetrical on both sides and is conical on both sides, tapering from the center gear rim to the casing bearings.
