The condenser (2) for condensation of vapor-form fluid has at least one bundle of parallel arranged tubes (10a-10f), through which a first fluid flows and around which a vapor-form fluid flows. Feed of the bundle with vapor is from above. The condensate is collected in a catchment container (42) beneath the condenser. There is adequate space (44) between the bundles in order that the vapor can flow around them in an undisturbed manner. The bundles are set out in accordance with the church window principle.
