A collection and treatment system has primary network(s) collecting effluents flowing under gravity from production sources and associated primary treatment station(s). Each station includes aerobic bioremediation of the effluents to produce a biologic sludge that can be transported under pressure via secondary collection network(s) to secondary treatment station(s)where the sludge is purified. An Independent claim is included for the following collecting and treating effluent as above. Preferred Features: Each primary station has an effluent receiving tank with aerators in its bottom and a weir to keep the effluent level constant and a sludge transfer tank supplying sludge from the receiving tank to the secondary network. The secondary network is a closed loop for circulating the sludge. Some of the secondary stations and the secondary network can be an existing sewage collection and distribution system. Each secondary station has a sludge receiving tank with aerators and a floating pump for emptying material from the tank.
