PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis system for lactic bacterium contamination sources intended to quickly and efficiently specify the sources of contaminated lactic bacteria as a cause of microbiological quality abnormalities including acidification and deterioration during processing a food or in the final processed food.;SOLUTION: This analysis system comprises utilizing the respective characteristics of 16SrDNA analytical method that enables the classification/ identification of lactic bacteria in high accuracy but has limitations in treatment time and the number of samples to be treated and a simple classification method such as RAPD-PCR method, REA method or SDS-PAGE method that enables the classification/identification of lactic bacteria to be quickly dealt with in large quantities but is inferior to the 16SrDNA analytical method in terms of accuracy; that is, in the case of high urgency or importance of problem solution, both the methods are run simultaneously in parallel, while in the case of not so high urgency, a detection/identification of lactic bacteria is first performed by the simple classification method, and based on the result, the 16SrDNA analytical method is then performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
