PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and inexpensive traveling-type tea leaves plucker simple to operate and easy to make a maintenance with a low center of gravity, designed to make a travel of the machine body, a blow of air to the plucking unit and a drive of the cutting blade each with a single engine without the use of any large-sized fan and/or hydraulic unit and enable the height of the cutting blade to be visually observed easily.;SOLUTION: This traveling-type tea leaves plucker has such a scheme that a plurality of small-sized and lightweight fans are used, the rotating power of an engine is transmitted to the fans and a cutting blade driving unit by the use of a belt clutch mechanism, a graduation is made to indicate the height of the cutting blade so as to enable a relevant operator to visually observe the height and thereby ensuring an indicator connected directly to a plucking unit to be moved along the graduations.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
