PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dictionary register for machine translation, a method, a recording medium or the like, capable of versatile dictionary registration even if the number of model sentences necessary for the registration is few. SOLUTION: In this dictionary register, an original language sentence and a model translation sentence to the original language sentence are inputted, and new registration contents to a dictionary for the machine translation are formed from the original language sentence and the model translation sentence and are registered. A morpheme generation result in a target language to the original language sentence and a morpheme analysis result to the model translation sentence are obtained, a difference between the morpheme generation result and the morpheme analysis result is detected, the dictionary for the machine translation is searched about a morpheme of the original language sentence corresponding to a morpheme about which the difference is detected, and the dictionary contents to be newly registered is automatically generated by use of the dictionary consulting result and the difference detection result.
