This invention provides a substance capable of inhibiting only an aimed enzymatic activity and a blood coagulation factor adsorbent using this substance. To be specific, this invention is accomplished by a substance which is capable of depressing the reaction between an activated blood coagulating factor and a substrate thereof by binding itself to said substrate in competition with said activated blood coagulating factor and a blood coagulation factor adsorbent using this substance.
