A general solution followed by a particular solution resulting from a differential algebraic equation is determined for every switch state of a technical system. The quasi-periodic stationary state of the technical system is determined from the general solutions and the determined equation system. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a quasi-periodic stationary state determining device; (b) and a control device.
