The method involves synchronizing visible satellites (R1, R2, R3) provided for a mobile (X) by modifying a synchronization delay. An altitude of the mobile on a sea surface is measured. Positions of the mobile are obtained by resolving systems of equations on combinations without repetition of three surfaces and correct solution is chosen by taking time differences between the satellites. The tangent sphere with minimum radius is calculated with the combinations without repetition and correct solution is chosen. The position of the mobile is calculated with the average of obtained positions. An independent claim is also included for a system for radiolocation of a mobile receiving radiolocation signals of visible satellites.
