PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erasable aqueous ink composition for a ball point pen, capable of improving the dispersion stability of colored resin particles or metallic luster pigment by imparting shearing viscosity reduction to the ink composition by incorporating a specific surfactant, also imparting a handwriting-erasing property and resistance to a light scratching, capable of easily erasing the handwriting obtained by writing on a paper with an eraser and also satisfying a handwriting-keeping property such that the handwriting is not erased by a usual abrasion with a finger or another paper each other by a simple blending composition.;SOLUTION: This erasable aqueous ink composition for the ball point pen contains the colored resin particles or metallic luster pigment ≥80 wt.% of which is contained in 2-10 μm range particle distribution, water and the surfactant having ≥30°C melting point and 5-12 range HLB value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
