HIERARCHICAL CLASSIFICATION TYPE BOOK INFORMATION RETRIEVAL DEVICE BASED ON INTERNET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book information retrieval device based on a hierarchical classification method on the Internet, and provide a mechanism with which even a person unfamiliar with a classification method can easily access a book information page on which target specialized books are stocked.;SOLUTION: On the basis of a classification reference having a fixed system and also on the basis of a classification method for sectioning books so that the books classified are not unevenly distributed, book information is displayed by determining major classifications and sectioning the books in minor classifications. Words having high use frequencies are picked up as key words from the book names of book groups sectioned every minor classification. The key words are developed as a list table every major classification, and used for explanation of the classification reference of the minor classifications.
