PURPOSE: A method for producing a snapping turtle extract using germanium-containing water and Chinese herbal medicines is provided. Whereby, the extract has effects on improving physical constitution, prevents aging of human skin and reducing stress. CONSTITUTION: A snapping turtle is washed with underground water disposed at a depth of 120m below the ground level containing germanium, mixed with Chinese herbal medicines containing Paeonia lactiflora Pall., Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz., Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch., Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort., Pueraria thunbergiana(Sieb. et Zucc.) Benth., Rehmanniae glutinosa Liboschitz, Pleuropterus multiflorus Turcz. and Zizyphus jujuba Mill var. inermis Rehder, aged for 240hr, extracted for 6hr or more and sterilized at 95deg.C or more for 1hr in the first stage. Thereafter, the extract is packed and sterilized at 90deg.C for 20min in the second stage.
