PURPOSE: A method for determining the malfunction of an ignition system by the sudden acceleration test of a vehicle is provided to repair the malfunction of the ignition system by precisely determining the malfunction of the ignition system. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining the malfunction of an ignition system by the sudden acceleration test of a vehicle comprises the steps of: connecting a positive probe of a first channel to an output line of a throttle position sensor and a negative probe to a negative plate of a battery; connecting a positive probe of a second channel to an output line of an oxygen sensor and a negative probe to a negative plate of the battery(S20); starting an engine and keeping idle state(S30); suddenly accelerating the engine(S40); analyzing the waveform of the voltage output from the oxygen sensor(S50); and comparing the measured waveform with normal waveform(S60).
