The direction change points (8), for an overhead suspension conveyor, is connected to three suspension rail tracks (5-7). A tongue (17), which swings on a fixed axis (Z), has one end which is flush with the first rail track (5). The free end (20) of the tongue can be moved to lie flush with the second rail track (6) or the third rail (7). The tongue axis extends parallel to a plane (ABC) through the rails. The free end of the tongue has an eccentric position in relation to the axis. Plates (25) to restrict the rotary movement are positioned where the free end of the tongue is flush with the two rails.
