The outer appearance of the mill is similar to the one of a ball pen or a fountain pen. It is assembled of an upper (4) and a lower housing section (5), the push button (1) acting on a shaft (2) surrounded by a helical spring (3), and a grinding ring (53) moving along the lower end of the shaft (2). The lower end of the shaft (2) is provided with grinding teeth arranged in several parallel positioned rows (23) around the outer surface of the shaft (2) and engaging with complimentary rows of grinding teeth located at the inner surface of the grinding ring (53). The device can be attached to the pocket of a jacket with a metal clip (44) joined to the upper housing section.
