PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call a program described in a FORTRAN form for use from a program described in a C++ form. PSOLUTION: A calculation program for the thermal property of a coolant is constituted as a dynamic link library which comprises: providing an initialization routine changing a data form and an operation form to the data form of the FORTRAN in the program described in the FORTRAN form; calling the initialization routine from the program described in the C++ form; changing the inputted data form and operation form; and calling a sub-routine in the program described in the FORTRAN form to conduct calculation based on the data having the changed form and operation form. Furthermore, the declaration of the sub-routine (a function) in the FORTRAN program is used as a declarative sentence declaring the sub-routine (the function) in the dynamic link library. The declarative sentence is changed to a form allowing the operation of the data form in the FORTRAN as the C++ form; the declaration is then used as the declaration of the sub-routine.
