A personal computer or games console according to the invention has an input control device which controls the direction and speed of a cursor or specified character on the screen when tilted in that particular direction. More particular to the invention is the simple method of construction and operation of the said device in that it can be enclosed within its own hand held enclosure or incorporated into existing devices to make them more user friendly. The said device contains an object such as a sphere which is free to move within a limit confined space. When tilted in a particular direction this object moves in that direction to provide an electrical feedback via activated switches or other means of providing electrical continuity to a cursor controller and its electronic circuitry to present the movement on a screen/monitor display. To reduce movements the cursor is centralised on the screen when in neutral position.
