METHOD FOR ANESTHESIOLOGIC MANAGEMENT OF SURGERY IN PATIENTS WITH SEVERE BURNS

The method for the anesthesiologic management of the surgery in the patients with the severe burns comprises the intravenous anesthesia, the infusion therapy, and the conservation of the autologous blood prior to the surgery. The bacteriological analysis of the blood is performed 15-24 hours preceding the surgery. The hemoglobin content, the hematocrit and the erythrocyte count is assessed 3-10 hours preceding the surgery. When the following values are obtained: hemoglobin not less than 110 g/l, hematocrit not less than 33%, erythrocyte count not less than 3.0 T/l, then exfusion of the venous blood is performed in a volume of 3-5 mg per 1 kg of body weight. The non-infected blood is stored as the whole blood at the temperature of 4-5 DEGREE C and later is infused dropwise intraoperatively. The infected blood is separated, the plasma is discarded and erythrocytes are washed twice with 0.85-0.9% solution of sodium chloride. The erythrocytes are then administered intravenously dropwise intraoperatively.
